Who I Am

I’m a memoirist and magazine editor based in Austin, Texas. You can find my work here and at the Alcalde.

When I’m not writing, I’m reading. I’m also mom to a 1-year-old kitten named Milo.

 
 

What I Know

I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors. I also earned a certificate in Core Texts through the Thomas Jefferson Center and a minor in English.

As an undergraduate, I spent nearly nine months living and working in Paris, France, including a semester at Sciences Po, the Paris Institute of Political Studies.
