Who I Am

I’m a writer and editor, born and raised in Houston, Texas, with sojourns in Paris, France.

As of March 2026, I am based in Manhattan, after seven years cutting my teeth in Austin.

What I Do

I’ve recently started as an associate and employee owner in the Insight & Strategy group at Global Prairie, a strategic and creative consulting firm serving clients who make the world better.

I’m also thrilled to be back in the saddle as interim managing editor at the Alcalde magazine, the official publication of the Ex-Students’ Association of The University of Texas at Austin.

What I Know

I am currently earning a Master of Fine Arts in creative nonfiction through New York University’s low-residency Writers’ Workshop in Paris.

I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from UT Austin with a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors.
