Who I Am

I’m a writer and editor based in Austin, Texas — relocating to New York City in spring 2026.

You can find my work on Substack and at the Alcalde. When I’m not writing, I’m reading.

 
 

What I Do

Through February, I am the events & marketing manager at First Light Books, a beloved independent bookstore and community hub in Austin’s Hyde Park neighborhood.

I’m open to work in NYC in editing, comms & marketing, and/or bookstores.

 

What I Know

I’m earning a Master of Fine Arts in creative nonfiction through New York University’s low-residency Writers’ Workshop in Paris, France.

I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Plan II Honors.
